Original period manufacture. A very clean 26 inch chrome finished blade with no issues, it runs straight and true and displays a false temper line on each side of the blade.Gilded brass guard and pommel, fishskin wrapped grip with wire binding.Brown leather covered scabbard body which shows some surface flaking and scuffing but retains a gloss to it still. There is a crease in the body just above the lower scabbard fitting but it is not broken. Ornate scabbard fittings in gilded brass, with two suspension rings.
