Original period manufacture. A 25.5 inch chrome finished blade with scattered areas of corrosion staining and light pitting, false temper line on the cutting edge. The blade runs straight and true with no nicks in the edge. Gilded brass folding guard and pommel, fish skin wrapped grip withwire binding.Fish skin covered scabbard body with no damage to the covering; ornatescabbard fittings in gilded brass, with two suspension rings.
