Original era manufacture. A Navy pattern,  printed silk rising sun flag, with an offset Hinomaru. There are a few, very tiny holes in the fabric, pinhole size, very clean overall with two pigskin leather reinforced corners with tie strings.The leather reinforced corners have not been moved, with a single line of stitching visible. The short, top side center ray measures 9.25 inches in length, the lower side center ray measures 12 inches in length, a near 3 inch difference.
