Original period manufacture. Small, oval shaped brass disc with a gilded finish. The kanji are engraved not stamped, with a white cotton neck cord. There is an old tag with the disc, stating the translation to be; "Sasaki, 4th Infantry Regiment". Very clean, light age and wear.
