Original period manufacture. Ceramic artillery shell ashtray with a removable top which is decorated with an army star and kanji. Removing the top reveals an ash reservoir with rests for three cigarettes. On one side is a rectangular projection where you would place an old style wooden match box. No damage, measures 5.25 inches in length.
