Original period manufacture. Color postcard published in 1935 celebrating the new Imperial Navy Takao Heavy Cruiser class ships. Atago, Chokai, Maya and Takao. Pencil scribble on the reverse. Three were lost during WWII, the lead ship Takao was sunk as a target ship in 1946 by HMS Newfoundland.
