Original era manufacture. An early production steel bodied oiler with a black painted finish and at one time had a machined brass screwtop applicator. The interior portion of the applicator top and the rod itself remain.Most of the black paint finish is present with a dent in the body from service use.Still will work fine in the ammo pouch.
