Original era manufacture. An original WWII Japanese steel helmet, which has been reconditioned by a previous owner, who tried very hard to put Humpty-Dumpty back  together.Thai reconditioned Japanese helmet shell, with an original Army pattern star, and, an original Japanese pigskin leather liner. The liner itself is sound and usable, size marked large, and dated Showa 15 (1940) under the front pad. Comes with a postwar net, perhaps of Thai manufacture.
