Original period manufacture. A late war example featuring a blue finished blade without fullers, rectangular slab guard, square type pommel and slightly contoured wooden grips. Scattered areas of pitting on both sides of the blade, less so on the pommel and guard. Relatively damage free original wood grips, lock button works properly. No scabbard
