Ok, we're calling this a replica as it came in with asmall lot of Japanese reproduction field equipment. However, it is very well made, and it is designed to fit over the wooden bodied, late-war pattern bayonet scabbard. I do not remember Nakata offering those for sale. We will err on the side of caution with this one.Allleather construction, with sewn edges and two copper rivets, and a blue steel securing buckle.
