Original era manufacture. Japanese WWII signed silk flag measuring 27x38 inches, tie strings in two corners. The basic translation is as follows; Praying for eternal success in war, congratulations on entering the Navy, from Nippon Denki President Azuma Saburo. Name of the individual is Kawaguchi Harukichi. Fight with great effort, praying from our hearts for you battles, sink the enemy, may your soul rest in peace as you find yourself in the Navy, assortedsignatures of friends and family. The flag is quite clean, with a few scattered minor stains and tiny holes from age and use.
