Original era manufacture. A printed silk flag measuring 34 x 28 inches, brown pigskin reinforcement sections in two corners with tie strings. There are a few pinholes in the fabric but overall it is very bright and clean looking.The basic translation reads; "From Suzuki Manufacturing Company, Showa 17 (1942), 12th Konae Bazooka Group, Showa 19, 2095 Tientsen China Showa 19, Kannan Mission Sowa 19, South China Showa 20, Back to Shanghai, Return to Kyushu March 23". Apparently a record of the soldiers service in China during WWII.
