Original era manufacture.  A printed silk rising sun flag, with a central Hinomaru. There are a few small holes in the fabric, and a small tear in one corner near a paper reinforced edge. Otherwise the flag is bright and clean looking.Two corners have gold paper reinforcement with tie strings. Classic WWII Japanese military flag.
