Original era manufacture. Standard type 30 steel helmet shell with its original split ring, chinstrap loops intact. Blue steel finish, with mud brown paint over what looks to be battleship gray paint. The interior of the helmet also displays a gray paint finish, likely IJN use.Heavy rust on one portion of the edge, measuring about four inches in length, and two inches deep. No extra holes in the shell, never converted by Thailand.
