Original period manufacture. A difficult item to find today, this this Japanese WWII sword hanger for an enlisted pattern leather belt. Chrome finished "slide" with a thick brown leather suspension strap with snaphook, and curved steel hook to carry the sword. Normal age and wear, no damage.
