Original era manufacture.Pacific theater, shop-made salt or pepper shaker, made from a cut-down Japanese AA shell and fuse assembly. Stands 5.25 inches in height. We've had a number of these over the years, perhaps made in a Seabee machine shop somewhere in the Pacific.
