Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the IJA heavy mortar round, brought home from WWII by a local Arizona GI.Black painted body with white letter stenciling and remnants of a yellow painted stripe at the top indicating HE. The brass fuze is removable with reverse threads, and comes apart into several pieces.Just above the fins is an old tag from a Chief of Ordnance regarding handling on shipping. The body of the mortar is completely empty, with no primer in the base, and the fuse as stated breaks down into several pieces.US SALES ONLY.
