Original period manufacture. Ok, what we have here is a bit of a project in that one of the leather loop support tabs on the back of the holster was removed at some point. A thoughtful previous owner, managed to scavange another original leather support loop but with a brass square loop, instead of chromed steel. It will need to be restitched. That's the bad news, the good news is that the rest of the holster is really nice. Pliable leather, very clear markings under the flap, the spare ammunition pouch is intact, and best of all, the little leather covering over the strap securing spring is intact, these always seem to be fragile, or worse, missing.
