Original era manufacture. Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet and metal scabbard. Kokura arsenal mfg.Bright finish blade with fullers, hooked guard, birdhead pommel and smooth finish contoured wood grips.The blade displays considerable cleaned surface corrosion near the point, bright and shiny near the guard. Dark steel patina to the guard and pommel with areas of cleaned corrosion pitting. Sound wooden grips with minor surface denting and staining.Steel patina finish scabbard with scattered surface denting and cleaned corrosion pitting.
