Original era manufacture. Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet and metal scabbard. Kokura arsenal mfg.Bright finish blade with fullers, hooked guard, birdhead pommel and smooth finish contoured wood grips.The blade displays a bright surface, with some minor staining, and a factory sharpened edge. Mix of blue and dark steel patina to the guard and pommel with a light peppering of cleaned surface corrosion. Very nice original wooden grips with minor surface denting and staining.Mix of blue and steel patina finish scabbard with scattered surface denting and cleaned corrosion pitting.
