Original period manufacture. A beautiful condition Type 30 bayonet by Jinsen, with a bright finished blade, hooked guard, flat bird head pommel and contoured wood grips. The blade is near perfect, no pitting issues. Near 100% blue finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wood grips darkened from age, displaying very minor service use and wear. Sound dark brown leather frog with a double belt loop, glossy luster to the surface. Blue steel finish scabbard displaying minor discoloration from age, no denting to speak of. One of the nicest examples of a WWII Japanese Type 30 bayonet we have ever offered, and from a less common arsenal.
