Original period manufacture. Type 30 bayonet by Jinsen, with a blue finished blade, hooked guard, flat bird head pommel and contoured wood grips. The blade is clean with scattered areas of staining to the surface, no pitting issues. Mix of steel patina and blue finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wood grips displaying minor service use and wear. Very sound dark brown leather frog with two belt loops. Lightly dented steel scabbard with most of the blue finish remaining. Honest, WWII Japanese bayonet.
