Original era manufacture. Bright polished steel blade with a hooked guard and rounded bird head pommel. The blue steel scabbard shows a light dusting of surface corrosion but only one very shallow surface dent. Very nice dark brown leather frog with a steel closure buckle. Kokura arsenal marked on the ricasso. Sound example of a popular GI souvenir of the Pacific War.
