Original era manufacture. Blue steel blade with a hooked guard and a rounded bird head pommel. The blue steel scabbard shows a few, extremely small surface dents and retains most of its original finish. Fairly sound dark brown leather frog with a dark steel closure buckle, showing a touch of wear and rubbing on the belt loop. Kokura arsenal marked on the blades ricasso. Sound example of a popular GI souvenir of the Pacific War.
