Original period manufacture. Type 30 bayonet by Kokura, with a bright finished blade, hooked guard, bird head pommel and contoured wood grips. Frankly, this is one of the nicest Type 30 bayonets we have ever offered. Only minor runner wear on the brightly polished steel blade, dark matt finish to the guard and pommel with near perfect wood grips. It comes with a very sound, single hole leather frog, mounted to a nearly dent-free steel scabbard, with most of the original finish remaining. It needs just a very light bath to make this a true "stunner", or leave it as is and enjoy the 75 years of history on the finish.
