Original period manufacture. Type 30 bayonet by Kokura, with a bright finished blade, hooked guard, rounded bird head pommel and contoured wood grips. The blade is clean with scattered areas of very light, cleaned surface corrosion the surface. Cleaned steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wood grips displaying honest service use and wear. Very sound dark brown leather frog with the wide single belt loop. Lightly dented steel scabbard with most of the original blue finish remaining.
