Original period manufacture.  Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet, straight guard, no blade fullers with Kokura Arrow M proof, contoured wooden grips and a flat bird head pommel. The metal finish is very nice, showing only runner wear to the blade surface. The blade retention springs are tight so it takes a little tug to draw the blade from its scabbard. Nice wood grips in original finish, pommel lock button works properly. Very clean blue steel scabbard free of dents. Very nice original brown leather frog showing no damage just normal wear, however the securing tongue is not looped throuth the scabbard throat, the frog has just been slipped over the scabbard body.
