Original era manufacture. Bright polished steel blade with a straight guard and flat sided bird head pommel. The blue steel scabbard shows a light amount of surface denting but is very clean. The blade shows areas of light surface corrosion and cleaning with a factory sharpened edge. Dark oil finish brown leather frog with a brass closure loop. The leather shows scattered areas of scuffing and surface cracking with spots of dry rot.
