Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade, hooked guard, flat birdhead pommel and contoured wooden grips. The blade is clean with no issues, just minimal scattered finish wear with a light service sharpening to the blade edge. Clear arsenal mark on the obverse ricasso, Mix of blue and steel patina on the guard, pommel and scabbard. Very light denting to the scabbard body, with two patches of cleaned surface corrosion. Original leather frog with a brass securing buckle, sound stitching and an oiled finish. The connecting strap is present but broken at the fold-over.
