Original period manufacture. Flat sided, bird-head pommel, hooked guard, contoured wood grips with a bright finished blade and blue scabbard. The bayonet is quite clean with some minor graying to the blade finish, no nicks in the cutting edge with a factory sharpening. Mix of blue and steel patina to the pommel and guard, original finish to the wood grips showing minimal marring from age and use. Very clean blue steel scabbard with some light surface denting, more felt than seen. Clean bayone from one of the more scarce arsenals.
