Original period manufacture. Straight guard, rounded birdhead pommel, contoured wood grips and a blue finished blade.The blade displays a mix of blue and steel patina finish with staining, with scattered corrosion peppering along its length. Clear makers logo on the ricasso of the letter K within a star.Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. The muzzle ring is out of round and will likely no longer fit a rifle, likewise, the pommel stud slot opening is battered. Original wooden grips, displaying considerable marring and denting from service use, with chipping visible on one grip panel.Scattered denting and corrosion pitting on the steel scabbard.
