Original period manufacture. Type 30 bayonet by Kokura with a blued blade with a very dark blue finish. I would say that the metal components of this bayonet have been reblued. Dark finish contoured wood grips, with a dark blue finish to the hooked guard, and rounded bird head pommel.Lightly dented, dark blue steel scabbard with corrosion pitting on the reverse. Comes with an original rubberized canvas frog, stiffened from age, with steel adjusting buckle, and complete securing strap, which is broken at the top.
