Original period manufacture. A very clean example with a hooked guard, contoured wood grips with a blue finished blade, and bird head pommel.The bayonet is a very clean example, with most of itsblue finish remaining on the blade, and a mix of blue and steel patina to the guard, pommel, and scabbard. Original finish wood grips, displaying typical marring and denting from service use. The scabbard is dent-free, the blade has some tiny nicks in the cutting edge.
