Original era manufacture. An early production bayonet featuring a bright finished steelblade, hooked guard, contoured wood grips and a blue finished scabbard .The blade is very clean, no corrosion issues, with two verysmall nicks in the cutting edge. Blue patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish wooden grips with minimal marring and denting.Dent free blue steel scabbard with most of its original finish remaining. A very clean example of the Type 30 bayonet.
