Original period manufacture. A very clean later war example featuring a blue finished blade without fullers, straight guard, flat type birdhead pommel and noncontoured wooden grips. The grips show original finish, with the GI's name HALL J stamped into the surface on each side. Most of the original finish remains on the metal fittings. with a very clean original finish blade. Dent free original finish scabbard retaining nearly 100% blue. Nice quality replica brown leather frog showing some age, not brand new looking. Super clean bayonet.
