Original period manufacture. Blue finished blade, hooked guard, flat bird head pommel with contoured wood grips. The blade is very clean, with lots of the original blue finish remaining, no corrosion or edge nicks, the point remains sharp.Original finish wood grips with minor marring, mix of steel patina and blue finish to the guard and pommel.   Most of the original finish remains on the scabbard, with only a few very shallow dents along its length.
