Original period manufacture. Straight guard, flat bird-head pommel, contoured wood grips with a blue finish blade with no fullers. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, operable lock button. Original finish wood grips, showing minor denting to the surface. Lightly dented steel scabbard, showing a matching finish of steel patina cleaned surface corrosion.
