Original period manufacture. A clean example featuring a blue finished blade with fullers, straight guard, flat type bird-head pommel and contoured wooden grips.Most of the original finish remains on the blade, guard and pommel, with original finish to the grips, minimal marring and wear to the grip surfaces. Blue finished steel scabbard with most of its finish remaining, with several spots of surface corrosion, no dents.
