Original period manufacture. A clean example featuring a blue finished blade with fullers, straight guard, flat type bird-head pommel and contoured wooden grips.Most of the original finish remains on the blade, guard and pommel, with original finish to the grips, scuffing to the grip edges, and minor dings and dents from service use. Blue finished steel scabbard with most of its finish remaining, with a few spots of surface corrosion, few shallow dents along its length.
