Original period manufacture. A straight guard bayonet manufactured in the Manchurian Mukden Arsenal for the Japanese Imperial Army.Blue finished blade, straight guard, rounded bird-head pommel, contoured wood grips and an all steel scabbard.The blade retains a good portion of the original blue finish with a few scattered shallow nicks in the edge. Mix of blue and dark steel patina finish on the straight guard and pommel, cleaned finish on the wood grips with typical minor marring and staining.Relatively dent free steel scabbard showing a cleaned finish, with a mix of blue and steel patina finish.
