Original period manufacture. A hooked guard bayonet manufactured in the Manchurian Mukden Arsenal for the Imperial Army. Steel patina finished blade, hooked guard, rounded bird-head pommel, contoured wood grips and an all steel scabbard. The blade is clean with clear arsenal markings, the grips have been cleaned and show typical dings and dents from handling. The steel scabbard shows evidence of heavy corrosion pitting which has been cleaned away, with a few scattered dents to the surface.
