Original period manufacture. Early production bayonet, with a blue steel finished blade, hooked guard, bird head pommel and contoured wooden grips. The blade is very clean with clear markings. Blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish wooden grips with light marring and denting to the surface. Very clean blue steel patina finish on the scabbard, no denting, a very nice bayonet overall.
