Original era manufacture. Another example of the smaller contractors of the Type 30 bayonet. Blue finished blade, hooked guard, contoured wood grips with a rounded bird-head pommel.A clean blade with no issues, displaying normal wear and use. Original finish wood grips with minor wear, blue finish to the guard and pommel, with surface wear to the high points. There is a rather deep ding in the pommel just to the left of the push-button, perhaps  a shrapnel strike from a small piece of shell.  Blue steel finish scabbard with most of the finish remaining, few small spots of surface denting.
