Original era manufacture. Hooked guard, rounded bird-head pommel, contoured wood grips and a blue finished blade. The blade displays a mix of blue finish and steel patina, no corrosion pitting with a period sharpening, clear arsenal markings on the obverse ricasso. Blue finish to the guard and pommel with some very light surface corrosion, original finish wood grips. Clean blue steel finished scabbard with a few shallow surface dents on the reverse. Scarce maker.
