Original era manufacture. Hooked guard, birdhead pommel, contoured wood grips and a blue finish blade. The blade is very clean showing some light runner wear near the cutting edge and old oil spotting on its surface. Nice original finish wood grips, with a dark blue/steel patina to the guard and pommel and evidence of old surface pitting at the base of the pommel. Blue finished scabbard which is basically dent free, wiith some very, very light cleaned surface corrosion. Scabbard throat screw is present. A nice bayonet from a less common maker.
