Original period manufacture. Bright finished blade, hooked guard, flat bird head pommel and contoured wood grips. The blade is bright with scattered spotting and staining with an aresenal sharpening. All of the other metal fittings show an even black overpaint with handpainted white kanji characters on the blade tang. Nice bayonet.
