Original era manufacture. Early production bayonet with a hooked guard, rounded bird head pommel, contoured wooden grips and bright finished blade with fullers. The exterior of the bayonet is covered with a dark OD paint finish, which leads me to believe that the bayonet saw service with the Republic of Korea armed forces. Interesting pommel serial numbers on the lock button side, 0139. Light scattered denting to the scabbard, the blade is bright.
