Original era manufacture. Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet and metal scabbard. Kokura arsenal mfg.Bright finish blade with fullers, hooked guard, birdhead pommel and smooth finish contoured wood grips.The blade displays a bright surface, with some minor staining, and a factory sharpened edge. There is a letter W (or M) stamped next to the arsenal proof on the ricasso. Mix of blue finish and steel patina to the guard and pommel.  Post production black paint finish on the steel scabard, which covers some old corrosion bubbling.
