Original era manufacture. Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet and metal scabbard. Kokura arsenal mfg.Bright finish blade with fullers, hooked guard, round birdhead pommel and smooth finish contoured wood grips.The blade displays a bright surface, with some staining, and scattered areas of surface corrosion; a light bath would do wonders here.  Mix of blue finish and steel patina to the guard and pommel, original finish wood grips, which show typical age and surface wear. Blue steel finished scabbard showing scattered minor denting and surface corrosion along it's length.
