Original era manufacture.Early production bayonet with a hooked guard, rounded bird head pommel, contoured wooden grips and bright finished blade with fullers. The blade is bright with clear markings. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish wood grips showing typical marring from service use. Clean, patina and blue steel scabbard, single dent on the reverse, with a splotch of garage glue.
